Souragne is a domain based around stereotypical Louisiana voodoo,
and as such consists primarily of a vast swamp. Few villages built upon plantations, and a single road, Tristepass, built upon the blood and flesh of slaves. Slaves and poor plantation workers dream of Libert'e, while the Lord of the Domain, the Lord of the Dead, plots within plots for his own amusement...
This is a land of warm forests and swamps, full of amphibians, crocodiles, leeches, lizards,
snakes, giant insects and willo'wisps. The supernatural entangles itself with the natural, so loas and the dead thrive throughout the lush and deadly swamplands.
Souragne has a population that is 99% human. People are very superstitious, they are not used to other races. Any humanoid creature will be labeled as a monster or demon and will not be trusted.
